• Thanks @Halcro

I'll take a look at those - Anyone had experience with Praxis?

  • Yes, they are very good, not as good as Shimano though - but then nothing is.

  • Ha. I've may have been converted back to Campag for now, but I'll never go to the Dark Side.

    Still got your Serotta @Dammit?

  • Yep, it's in the workshop for a repaint.

  • Beautiful! What are you thinking? It is actually the perfection of a bike with those 202's on.

  • Nice compact!! Lovely bikes they are. However not a 2013 if u care. Moots change headbadge around 2011 if my memory serves. Only hollow mr moots badges after that. + the modell changed name to cr instead of compact same year i believe so latest a 2010. I however prefer the older compact with integrated seatpostbinder.

Has it got replaceble der hanger?

    The best of bikes!

  • Nice to meet you @Fahrgestell. Had my maiden ride yesterday and she does indeed ride like a dream. As you said, she'll be in a nice home and will be as well looked after as all others in the barn!

Congrats on the new bike. Truly looking the bomb!

  • @Fahrgestell
Hello sorry to talk about one of your old bikes but since I have pretty much the same bike I thought you might have info. Do you know what thread were the bb's?
    Cheers

  • English bb threads

  • Cheers!

  • @M.Pista - sorry for the slow response @johnnettles2 is correct - yep 68mm English BB - if you ever sell that let me know.....! Whats the size?

  • .

  • Few last shots of the Serotta before it sold. Man do I miss that ride :(

Do you know what it is yet? ;)

Out with the old and in with the new Moots, current set-up - need to start thinking of a reliable - cheap, winter wheelbuild, any ideas? Keen to keep this as cost effective as possible but good enough for the Moots....

  • Ambrosio Excellight

Bitex or Novatec hubs - or as bling as you'd like to go

Or just get some Hed Ardennes

  • Hey, is that question for me or m.pista? Love the moots

  • Oh HAI!!!

  • That looks in incredible condition - original or respray?

  • That looks sohoo lush.

  • Damn you. I wanted to rip on that paintscheme but feels silly doing that now. I hope you've sold it. :D

  • ...

  • @Dammit - yep - its the original colour from, I think, 2001/2002 judging by the serial number and rear dropouts. Which puts in the same era as my last one, above.
Looking at the colour chart I think this colour is "Tangerine" - with fade decals, which were a rarer touch on these frames.

It's currently winging its way to London from Maryland, should hopefully arrive in the next week; fingers crossed.

The fork is obviously not a Serotta F1 which would have possbily been the OG fork but its what made it slightly more affordable. Anyway its a Serotta Legend Ti.

The plan for this is to transfer most of the parts from the Brother onto this albiet the brakes, saddle seat-post, and stem.
