No Boonen revenge at KBK today, he's not starting due to stomach problems.

How does one quote one's own post which correctly predicted the outcome of yesterday's race?
I predicted Kristoff for today btw. Get the house on him.
-
• #9804
One doesn't because it's bad form.

Did Kristoff get back on his bike yesterday? He was limping around after the crash.
-
• #9807
If the UCI had the bottle to back up its rules the front three from yesterday would be disqualified apparently.

Did 10km after the crash the sacked it off. Few aches and pains apparently.

I've seen the chasing group complaining to the motos but I couldn't understand why... now I get it!

They were told before the race if they were spotted or pictured riding on pavements/cycle paths next to the pave they would be DQed. They did anyway and weren't. Cycling must be one of the worst sports for having rules that are just consistently and blatantly ignored and then not enforced.

Getting pretty fast now at KBK
-
• #9815
Sagan, Trentin, Rowe, Benoot and Stuyven leading it.
-
• #9816
And Sagan gets it
-
• #9817
Fair play to Stuyven, great chase.

My four year old whilst watching Sagan, "Is he a vampire?"

Tour of Abu Dhabi looking fucking miserable today

Is it normal to lose the world champion in a bunch of 5?
-
• #9821
Not some of the Haribo, ALL of the Haribo
-
• #9822
I don't want the result to change, the strongest riders won, but they were told anyone that was seen or pictures riding the pavement would be DQed, they and the chasing group did and weren't, later groups were blocked by a motorcycle. It's just not cricket old chap

• #9823
That section cost the group around 20 seconds, at that stage of the race, it was fairly critical

If there is to be no racing where there can be raced, place barriers. End of.

Luke Rowe is looking in mighty fine shape. How strong was he today, bridging the gap.
Sagan is a legend. But they knew what they were doing in the middle of the race, making him work and he choose to, because he just won't have the teammates to help him. I also like that he looks like a wizard.
