They're not pros yet, at least not in a fully paid way as opposed to full time. All young male Brits with that sort of performance are hoovered up by Ineos, wouldn't it be nice if they also set up a properly funded team for women?

It's what she would've wanted.

AVV puncture and front wheel destruction on a curb yikes!
-
• #42859
Hmm you can see the tyre is tubeless as it is completely detached from the rim and wrapped around the frame afterwards but it is still inflated before she crashes and there is no noise of a blowout either.
Crackyon I reckon :)

Dutch team mechanics with a lack of experience on installing and fine tuning SRAM?
-
• #42868
Mechanics seem to have had a tough time of it; I saw that Belgian junior was supplied a TT bike by his 2023 team with adult gearing and no-one picked it up till the commisaires made him change bike on the start line
-
• #42869
Such a basic mistake but I guess the mechanics aren't used to working with Juniors.
-
• #42870
I’m guessing most of them are short of tools/equipment as the cost of getting stuff that might be needed is prohibitive.
-
• #42871
They had actually got the correct cassette on it with a 14T smallest but used a 53T chainring not 52 as required.
-
• #42872
Same thing happened to Hayter in the ITT, right? From memory he wasn't using Shimano rings, although Ganna was.

CX world cup will not be coming to London in December after all... They're going to Dublin instead

Hilarious win from AVV. What a champ.
Her sock length is concerning though.
It gets better, in an interview 30 year old Yates claimed that his best years are ahead of him. Just as well that Pogacar and Ayuso are nearing retirement then.....
