  • It’s the dream team for Paris-Nice, too.

I noticed the Bahrain pronunciation, but why not give that the beans like he does all of the euro stuff?

  • I hate Eurosport when they do that.

  • @Mickie_Cricket told me there was some beef between Blythe and Woodsy on twitter regarding commentary

  • Eurosport did respond very quickly to my complaint on Twitter about the thumbnail.

  • Still, he gives up 15+ kg on your average classics rider.

  • He's only 5 foot 2, though.

  • Anyone who's followed Pidcock's career knows he has talent across all terrains. He's won the junior world TT champs, the junior and u23 versions of Paris-Roubaix, the u23 Giro and was, if memory serves, UK national circuit champion when he was a junior where he took everyone by surprise by taking the last corner flat out then out sprinting the field.

not bad for a chipper race

  • heino pidders 1-2 at roubaix hype train starts here

  • (getting all these nicknames in before fizzy bleach comes off lent)

  • Tom Paddock

  • I think the C is silent which is a great insight! Pid(c)ock doesent say much in interviews, imagine the sources Horner has. Thats quality journalism.

  • And disciplines. World record pace 5km runner too.

  • phew

And tomorrow it's the last training race (aka chipper) before it: Le Samyn! Will we see Cavendish in the sprint against MVDP? (it's a bit hilly so maybe not likely)

  • Great weekend of racing. Got accidentally absolutely tanked for omloop, was sad it was a group but then finish was impressive enough that it didn't matter, then kbk great entertainment from the start of the broadcast.
Trek intentionally resting in omloop? Is that a silly suggestion?

Re Blythe, really love his chit chat, "insider knowledge" and willingness to have a joke, but consensus on whatsapp is he needs to do his homework: learn the riders, teams and kits.

  • Trek intentionally resting in omloop? Is that a silly suggestion?

Quick Google says nah, just a shit day

  • Whatever happened to gerald cioleck

  • He retired at the end of 2016. Last I heard he was working as a DS for a domestic German team.

  • Nice trashy Milan San Remo Besenwagen doc with Ciolek.

  • I wonder if ISN really thought it through when they decided to call their video about the UAE tour 'Desert Storm'.

  • Interesting image from Belgium at the weekend; a lovely JRA steerer break. Factor have (provisionally) blamed it on assembly which I'm sure has gone down well in the service course. Given it seems to be broken at the top and bottom, that's some impressively cack handed assembly.
