I think that’s a dead cat to take attention away from some of the other, more impactful changes. It seems to be working too.

Yeah bit odd. The water bidon one seems sensible. I also like the idea of a safety record.

Given most of the bidon-related crashes (Tommy V and Geraint Thomas for example) I can remember appear to be ejected bottles, not intentionally thrown ones I'm not sure what the value is

Carapaz, although I want to say TGH. I can’t imagine that TGH would have been capable of hanging with Rog and Carthy in the Vuelta. I know TDF is a different race, but the Giro 2020 lineup wasn’t stacked.

Agreed... It also looks like Castroviejo’s tour days are over, given the list above. Especially if they squeeze Bernal in at the last minute. We have a long way to go until then though, I guess anything can happen.

Though it’s been reported (by TGH) himself that he put put one of the best ever physical performances in Sky/Ineos’ records in terms of W/KG, so his power is up there with the very best.
