Reckon the presence of S Yates, and Bardet to a lesser extent, may spell the end of Porte's dominance of Wilunga.

I reckon both Bardet and Yates have bigger objectives that they are focused on, which means they won’t be in top condition now.

Agree (although porte is also ostensibly a GT rider), but they both should have the pedigree to make it less of a procession.

I don’t even know who Porte rides for these days. He’s irrelevant. When did he last do anything?

God alone knows what Trek-Segafredo’s management are thinking though. Porte is over the hill so let’s bring in the young and upcoming talent that is Vincenzo Nibali?

The UCI have two De Rosa track bikes homologated on the 5th November. Doesn't mean they're not from another maker though

Good spot! Seems an odd thing to put money into if it’s really a new bike. Pinarello have done the new Italy team bike so this seems of limited use?

I guess Viviani will ride it in the track races he does which isn’t the Olympic stuff for the Italian team. Good PR

According to the Ineos interview videos Carapaz, Thomas, Froome and Bernal are all saying "I'm riding TDF".

Denise Betsema is allowed to race cyclocross again, UCI ruled that only a 6 month ban was enough, as they can't seem to find exactly what she did wrong. If she had known earlier, she could have had a near full cross season.

That’s not quite true, she was banned for 6 months for anabolic steroid positives.

Oddly, that ban ended in October, but it’s only just been made public.

She was in the papers for her AAF 9 months ago, then banned 6 months only?

What excuse gets a steroid positive test only a 6 month ban?

Contaminated supplement would be my guess.
