My favourite ever cycling commentary was during the track cycling at the Beijing Olympics when the commentator informed us that a cyclist was "crashing through the gears" just before he let us know that the same rider was "free-wheeling to victory".

I tell you, bike doping is real.

De La Cruz has a strong Ineos team behind him now, especially as he has sneaked to 2nd on GC.

Will be interesting to see how Ineos play it.
