  • Hang on, the chain stays are laterally stiff and vertically compliant?!

  • Oo-er, certainly hope so

  • You could make balloon animals out of those FMBs and the marketing says the frame matters

  • Jaguar need to chill out. At this rate they'll have Wiggo in a sheepskin jacket, smoking cigars and voting UKIP.

  • Got my family to put bets on the RVV. Sunday should be fun!

  • My fear is the race turns into a standoff without the usual players to animate the race...hope I'm wrong but given there's so much at stake, race may turn into a stalemate rather than some of the topsy turvy racing we've seen so far in the Spring Classics

  • 2014 race on Eurosport right now, within 22km if anyone's interested.

  • he will entertain the masses tomorrow, even though he's not riding

  • @Jimmy_Fingers if Kristoff makes the selection I will be astonished. I'll go for one of Terpstra, Stybar or Thomas. Or Sagan might surprise us all.

  • Or Van Avermaet, or Vanmarcke, or Degenkolb..... Possibly an even more open race without the second-line favourites watching and waiting for Fab and Tommeke to make their move (I hope!).

  • Isn't it time Chavanel won something?

    Might be worth a sneaky £5 of DeMare. Bet you'd get good odds.

    Or Stannard. He could suck Wiggo and G's wheels all day and then punch it home from 3km out.

  • Today's Wiggins Watch, he's making himself popular with the locals;

  • You realise Kristoff has finished 5th and 4th in the last two editions, yes? I'd say he's a 5 star favourite alongside Thomas and Vanmarcke.

  • Geraint Thomas will hopefully win this. If a sprint Degenkolb.

  • Didn't he win the bunch gallop for the minor placings both times? Unless it all comes back together I don't see him winning.

  • ^I think it was in 2013 that Kristoff made a valiant, but doomed, lone attempt to jump across to the leaders, no bunch gallop there; he isn't just a sit-in sprinter.

    How about the bets that matter: first Spaniard to climb off, distance in km to Stijn Devolder's first crash, km at which Kelly first says 'make the calculation'....

  • He chased alone from the Paterberg last year, and was this far back at the finish;

  • Foreshortening! ;)

  • yeah he crushed the recon today

  • No point burning oneself out before the race. Also better recon intelligence if going slower. And playing possum.

    **** puts life's savings on the win ****

  • And Kristoff looks in even better form this year, and Paolini, who himself has a decent chance, will be punching for him.

  • Hope they changed their cleats afterwards...

  • Good old Wiggins, lying through his teeth...'it's mysterious' 'so it's like for us, a myth?'
