Hennyway, I make a 4.6% performance gain worth about 15 minutes at P-R so I guess it'll be a sprint finish between the Sky riders.

How on earth do you even come up with a figure like a 4.6% performance gain? Such bullshit marketing.

I'd have thought the 50% comfort gain was even less credible, given that there is no recognised measure of comfort. Couch Newtons, perhaps.

I reckon riders would rather have +10% performance and +10% comfort than 4.6% and 50%. Anyway the quantification is clearly arbitrary.

If they've genuinely improved both performance and comfort whilst staying within the rules then this is a great success of engineering and sport science. If.

Why the hate? Surely it just brings them in line with trek domaine decouple wotsit, specialized's elasto-thingies, bianchies clever layups and the like? Technology gooood.
