day 3
-
• #16803
Watching on Eurosport player catchup for the first time and the uninterrupted version has the commentary panned all the way into one speaker so you can watch the whole thing just with just the ambient noise and no fucking Kirby

Lopez looked dashingly stylish when he rode straight off the road yesterday.. Must give you a soulful boner seeing your work on tele hoops?
-
• #16805
Is it the Giro where Astana are regularly "well prepared" and on the attack on the ups?
-
• #16806
I dunno about ‘boner’ but it is pretty cool to see my work at the sharp and of world tour races on TV everyday. Lutsenko was pushing hard on the front for a while on his too today.
I got a thankyou message from Lopez the day he won at the Tour des Aples on it. He said he wanted to win that stage to prove he was worthy of a team leader bike. That message was way better than tv coverage any day!

Nice of Yates to
avoid doping controlgift that win -
• #16808
Really cool.

• #16809
Such a cynic.
-
• #16810
Except as race leader he'll definitely be tested.

Hah that’s cold!
Branson cannot run a business where there is any form of competition. It’s why he bids on government contracts these days.
-
• #16812
ah, that's nice that you're known to the riders too and they appreciate the work that's gone into it-great to see that your work's up there on the world stage anyway man.
-
• #16814
Branson prefers to deposit adults from considerable height, so he would represent an improvement in terms of moral fibre.
Sick (fuel) burn.
-
• #16815
He's been pretty drab so far in the Giro
Er have you watched Froome ride before?!
I'm with Andy on this one: he may well slowly, undramatically and drably close that gap still over the course of the race. I wouldn't write him off just yet.
-
• #16816
He went up 11 places on GC yesterday .. fuck him, there are more exciting riders to watch.

Didn’t realise Nieve was at Mitchelton Scott. They’ve quietly put a very strong and experienced team together.
Should be well set to defend the jersey as far as Yates is capable of taking it. Either way, this is going to be great experience for him.

Watch the final 40 late last night. Fuck yeah! Sucks we lost pink but oh no we got it back again in team form. Love Chaves.
-
• #16820
You know Yates is English? Chaves is Colombian; Kreuziger is Czech; Nieve is Basque.
I could go on. Only Haig is Aussie I think.

And without a name sponsor for this year too.
-
• #16822
Is he? Oh shit, I thought he was from Brisbane and was just really tanned.
It's an Aussie team. See how I wrote "in team form"?
-
• #16823
Much like Sky being British.
-
• #16824
I guess I could claim all Sky victories as Aussie ones too. Thanks Rupe!
-
• #16825
To be fair, it’s not different to the muppets who support Sky as a british team.
Mushrooms.
