You’re sounding like my wife. Let me guess you get perpetual headaches as well?

You should have said £45 to her.

I'm certain the Italian People appreciate your effort to keep their economy afloat single-handedly.

More riding on the full carbon lite today. 12miles each way for work. Now I have sorted out the angle and setback it just feels like a forma, success!

Nice but pricey. I have the carbon dynamic and is sublime.

I would have gone for a carbon forma but the top is leather and looks tatty after about 6 months.

Anyone got an Avant/Well they're looking to get rid of? Cheers!

Right. Anybody got any solutions for smp related bib wear? Getting fed up of my smp eating through new bibs and I think I’ve narrowed it down to the stitching on the back and sides.

Obvious solution is get the bare carbon one, if your wallet and butt can stand it....

Wallet can not withstand. Any cheaper alternatives to lessen impact of stitching apart from stripping and recovering the saddle?

Carbon fibre bib shorts?

I worry about unwanted stiffness...

I'm considering a SMP. Would you say that the size guide on their site is accurate? Just found a Forma, which supposedly suits me (US32-33) for half the price of a new one.

I occasionally ride with an SMP Well and it’s terrible with dhb bib shorts but Pearl Izumi ones seem fine - the pad in the dhb ones is more flexible and just seems to gather in the cut-out.

I’d buy second hand. They do take some getting used to and fiddling with. The angle and setback is critical.
I went out just now for 30k with an Allen key again. I think I’ve got it set, now feels like a forma. I needed to slide it forward a bit more. I think this is because I’m not superglued in place like you get with the tacky worn in leather.
@hippy It was either that or buy another leather saddle.
