I should be able to do some analysis on that if I have time today, I have data from the Aus Nationals TT recently. Someone ages ago said Bobridge had a CdA of ~0.185 in the tunnel but that sounds a bit low to me. Possible, but low - and with his typical forward position and high head, pretty unlikely.

Bobridge's attempt will start at 8 AM GMT tomorrow, anyone know where to find a stream or broadcast? UCI YouTube channel doesn't show it as planned, only the CX worlds

Is that a height thing?
Bobridge is a short stocky guy. Totally different build compared to say Wiggins.
I do the sufferfest TT vid 'the long scream' a lot. That has Bobridge, Cance, Wiggo, and Martin. Its pretty interesting (and a welcome distraction) watching the differing techniques and positions.

Being tall won't help your CdA because of the unavoidable frontal area. You can get a low CdA with a fairly normal looking position but I just don't think they'd stick him into a team pursuit >0.02m^2 lower than everyone else (which is the ballpark figure I saw).
Looking forward to the attempt, I have everything ready to graph up his splits so they'd better not cut to a bloody ad break!

You might want to find multiple feeds. I have no idea if that youtube one is legit or any others.

He's got quite a high position (for a pro). Is this usual for him?

Using the banking a little. It's easier to swing up and down a little bit around the bends than strictly hold the line. I'm sure he knows what's up.
Don't need to enter those feeble training rides especially since I'm faster than the author of Faster already.
