Is a "conversation" actually how you post a new thread, or is that a private message?

A conversation is a thread.

A message is a private message.

Messages have envelope icons and live in the Messages area and cannot be posted to a forum.

Conversations live in forums, and there is a button to create them within a forum.

On my normal browser on my Samsung Galaxy S3, the banner at the top looks munted. Any one else experiencing this?

Apparently the old default browser in Android does this.

But the Chrome browser, which is the new default browser for Android, does not.

I just imagine it's rotating really slowly.

Remember those old rotation effects that just squashed and expanded the image?

I miss being able to see how BIG a thread was, with the page count thing that trailed the thread title. It meant I could quickly identify new threads and old/popular threads.

You mean the bit that says "5664 comments 7543556 views" that is still there?

No, I do not mean that. I mean exactly what I said "the page count thing that trailed the thread title". My eyes scan thread titles, they don't look at numbers on the other side of the screen. Having a longer 'list' of pages after a thread title meant I quickly knew the thread was old or new.

Added a bit about the font to the FAQ

It is easier to judge thread size from pages rather than comments, like trying to explain the cost of bikes in pennies.

Have a load of my subscribed threads gone missing? I am only 'following' two pages worth of conversations now as compared to loads before.

Also, if I have read this thread correctly, I am not missing something obvious, but there is not currently:

1. A way to click straight to the last post of a thread.
   
2. Not a way to click to a general all new, I have to select a forum first.

@Hippy after 78,000 posts, do you really need that page count thing to tell you the TT thread has been around for a while while the Zipp 404 Firecrests offered for £50 has just been added?

Right... that's me done for the day. Only 12 hours today... but nothing is breaking, and I'm going to go have dinner with my girl.

I'll be back fixing things tomorrow morning, feel free to send those username requests through, but I shall only resolve them in the morning.
