  • I've never had a puncture on my 28c 4 seasons. In 1000s of miles. They're not the nicest tyres, but are good whatever. And I've been down many a bridleway.

There are always force levers cheap on ebay. But red ones won't be much more if you look around.

  • In fact, the compass tyres in 38mm would be perfect come to think of it.

  • Any UK/EU stockists?

    Edit: http://www.velovitality.co.uk/collections/wheels-tyres-and-tubes/products/compass-barlow-pass-tyre-700c-x-38-mm

The Stampede Pass in 32mm looks interesting too.

  • Order direct, never got charged at custom (knock woods).

TBF I order a lots from Compass.

  • Braaaaaaap

  • Hi Psee,
I think this is a great build. I really like these versatile bikes that people are building at the moment.

    1. What tyres did you go for in the end?
    2. What is the rough weight of the finished bike?
    3. More pics and ride report please!
  • Lovely stuff

  • I just moved over the parts from my previous bike. So currently Panaracer Pasela. I think i'll stick to 32's. But may try some Compass/Other brand later.

Haven't weighed it yet, but somewhere between 9 and 10kg i guess. No weightweenie parts.

I'll take some more photos later.

  • Tres hot, looks a perfect all year round ride!

  • I've a pair of compass 32 that you are welcome to try if you want. They roll superbly, a really nice ride. They punctured far far too easily though. At the moment, I am loving Jack Browns. I'm interested to try the new Conti GP4000 ii S in 28 width. They look light and supple and with good puncture protection. No one seems to have them in stock at the moment though.

  • what's the problem with the current pasela's? Amazing bike btw.

  • Looks incredible, very nicely done.

  • None, really. Would just like to try something else.

  • Really really nice! Btw is that an i7 or i8 CK headset?

  • Thanks. Inset 7.

  • hummina hummina

  • A bit late - but nice build!
Any changes in measurement for this compared to previous rycht frames?

  • ^ No major ones. Slightly longer ST. Slacker angle up front. Small stuff.

Haven't really had the time to ride it yet so will probably do some tweaking to the setup later..

  • What seat pack?

  • kaptajn

  • Bike looks rad.

Conti 4 seasons 28c are fucking tiny.

  • Is that just a velcro strap instead of the shite clasp that was on orig kaptajn?

The bike looks too good. Great shots too!

  • Awesome, congratulations. Your previous builds were great too but this is a step up even from them.

  • @Captain_P make more saddle rolls !
