Should it not be there?

• #53
Front brake lever normally is on the left side..
-
• #54
Just seemed a bit odd to me.
-
• #55
Front lever on the right is fine.
-
• #56
I thought front brake levers were always on the right?
-
• #57
Mine have always been on the right?
-
• #58
continental vs islands. has to do with riding on opposite sides of the road iirc and indicating.. continental is front left, gb/eire front right
-
• #59
A very old argument, this one
-
• #60
Note that the EU standard is front=right, even though a lot of countries don't actually observe it
-
• #61
left/right, who care? as long you can perform an emergency stop easily.
-
• #62
Thoughts on the bike and not just the misplaced brake lever lol?
-
• #63
Just ride the damn thing.
-
• #64
My thought is that you might want to put those spacers under the stem instead of on top of it
-
• #65
will be chopping the steerer eventually hence why its been put there for now...
-
• #67
Just put in an order for some park tools glueless patches...will see how they stack up.
cheers
-
• #68
They will be shit, only to be reserve for emergency patching to get you home.
Just get some proper one that'll permanently fixed the puncture, like this.
Then learn how to patch it properly;
One suggestion is to glue it in a circular motion with the middle being the hole, this will make it easier to position the patch right in the middle of the hole.

Cool, got a ton of inner tubes on the way if the patches dont work...
-
• #70
The patches are meant to be temporary.
However not all is lost, I tend to use them to patch the inside of the tyres if there's a tiny hole.

• #71
Thanks for that vid, cant believe how wrong i was doing it.
-
• #72
Wait, how were you doing it?
-
• #73
well i wasnt waiting for the glue to dry for start. didnt rough up the area and definitely not peeling the plastic off from the inside.
