Is there room for another? I had been talking about doing an audax that day ... but this sounds much more fun. I vote canals, though. No canals = no ducks.

90% sure I can lend a hand on the Farnborough depart. Will confirm when I have a functioning biek.
RIP Canyon
Oh no, it didn't fall into a canyon did it?

As someone who now travels to/from this station on a weekly basis i can confirm that he does work there. I can also confirm that I am in contact with the CEO of FGW via a website I run called fixmytransport.com :)

as the second person to ask this: there's no limit, please just add your name to the end of this list.... however... I would prefer /not/ to have more than 8-9 people on the fast group and only those who will be able to keep the pace and take turns for the distance. I say this rather selfishly as I'm using this to train for the tour of wessex.

the gentleman in the ticket office informed us that Group-Save tickets were not available to persons with cycles.

Thanks Ben - sorry that was super-lazy posting by me. Social group is perfect for me - and I am definitely up for the spa. Also, if I come I can once again defeat the jobsworth with my implacable logic and get us on the train.

Haaaaaats!
It's been ages!

Just for the sake of balance, last time, when we left, Chris was delayed picking up his bike and missed the train but the ticket barrier guy held onto one of the groupsave tickets at the gate for him.
Which was nice.

Even nicer was travelling back to London without having to put up with the rest of you.
Forever alone and happy.

so I'm hearing some aren't bothered by the spa, in which case we could stuff that and head to mine (which will be stocked with beer and food) or le pub. Either way I'm happy :)
Keep the pics coming!

so I'm hearing some aren't bothered by the spa, in which case they need to have a long hard look at themselves as the spa looks fucking amazeballs

I have heard from the wandering Balmain and he's doing his best to make it, I'll leave him to put his own name to the list though :)
