Do like. I made 'homemade Kahlua' when I was in school using food essence (maybe coffee and chicory essence? $6AUD for a litre of Kahlua was winning!). I mean before it was banned when all those kiddies started ending up in hospital because they couldn't handle it.

Nowadays my Kahlua is either in espresso martinis which are awesome - caffeine and booze! or it's just on the rocks.

Howdy all - not much of a cocktail drinker but have accepted the challenge to get a mate to make three drinks from what he has in his cupboard on a zoom call later this evening - anyone see any good options I could suggest? Here’s a list of what he has -

Big Tom is a good base for Bloody Mary, its already a little spicy.
I tend to use that, whatever vodka my mates leave after a barbecue and a little Cox's Bloody Mary spicer
Get it nice and spicy. -

No Blue Curacao? If you had that and combined Vodka, Lemonade, grenadine you'd have a Fruit Tingle. I've never been able to recreate the ones we used to get in Melbourne that actually tasted like Fruit Tingle sweets though.

Does it have to look cool or taste good? My cocktail party trick is to layer shit using the back of a spoon into disgusting combinations of brightly coloured shots of doom. The best is pouring any kind of cream like baileys onto other shit so it congeals like those "brain" shots.

Benedictine and hot water (known as a Bene and 'ot) is a traditional drink. Equal measures of benedictine and hot water.
Also Benedictine and Brandy, equal measures of each.

Dry or sweet vermouth?
If dry, all the martinis - gin or vodka, or add a flavour from sloe gin or limoncello etc
You could combine a fair few of those and only be moderately revolting. -

Actually, since we're doing this...
I have full bottles of white rum, strawberry liquer and lime gin that I will never drink unless they can be cocktailified... any suggestions?
Scratch the white rum, the missus can do mojitos with it.
