It increase the top tube length, not the reach.
Check the link, it actually explained it there.

I'm pretty sure this is the 201o Potenza which I think I got in the early bit of 2011. I've really loved it, although I think I was uncomfortable on it for years because of my poor flexibility and fear of changing anything. Last few years I've ran it fixed and to be honest it does really well as track-ish bike. And after riding on a few aluminium bikes I am really impressed with how nice the feel of the steel is. +1 for the quality of Condor steel. Retrospectively it was overpriced (that's Condor for you) esp considering the low-end crankset it came with, but it's made me a Condor fan for many years. I love this bike despite the fact it's low-key and I guess unremarkable.

Hi all. Seems this is the only Condor forum about so here i am.
Just bought my used Condor a few months back. Its a vintage looking thing with a 1 inch headtube. The guys at Condor confirmed it to be a Condor from the pics before bidding on ebay. But they were unable to entertain my other questions as regards model/year.
So far me and any potential onlookers who've complemented it have managed to get a production year of between 1995-2000. So here I am to see if the Condor community can enlighten.
The groupset is full Campag Veloce with Campag Daytona 53/39 cranks (not sure if this was an upgrade at some point). Forks definitely an upgrade with Carbon Mizuno with 1 inch steerer and a Tange threadless headset.
My main question just now is, does anyone know if the headtube would be a JIS 1 inch or what was called 1 inch professional. Reason I need to know is cos I need to swap headsets (and would rather not dismantle everything until the time for the fettling comes as shortage of space). The headset I am considering is the Cane Creek 40 threadless in 1 inch size.```

For some reason it seems like the time to remember my sadly stolen custom 631 ride the day after I got it, back in'07..... Still miss this one😟. Wish I had some better pics too!

@redefined_cycles, have you sent them the frame number? I did and they replied with year, tubing and makers name. It was after the auction ended so I took a chance on it anyway.
My frame is quite old 70s or 80s don't know if that makes a difference.
Good luck -

My first Condor from 2011 - Scandium/Crabon Squadra. Julian asked me rhetorically 'you are going for the gold bar tape aren't you? my reply, "fuck yes".
Has handbuilt Record/Archetypes and 2014 Campag Chorus on it now. I need a new frame but don't want to stop riding it.

61cm ST, 57.5cm TT, 20.5cm HT, 41.5CS and 73 angles. There's times where I kinda wish I'd got a 5-10mm longer top tube.
Thanks Ed. I guess that was what I was saying myself but...
What? Slackening the ST would increase the reach (all other things being equal), no?
