Thanks for that info @Mr_Smyth . I've sent an email to IF as the serial number sticker is no longer on. You're right that they're probably fine and I've ridden them for about 4000 miles (and plenty of +/- weather through both seasons) since I bought the frameset.
But after my recent blacklisting (I assume people thought I bought the full bike for £800) on being whipped on the forum I wouldn't wanna make this thread another one of being ridiculed 😆
So will await their response and if it doesn't come soon enough I'll just give em away to a good home. Thanks again 😊
Been building my own custom bikes since 2008. Mainly to ensure I can ride the best, I build a few custom bikes here and there and the profit allow me to ride IndyFab/Santa Cruz/Condor...
Here cos this forum seems to know their bikes and hopefully I may be able to find myself a good tourer at some point... Maybe an IndyFab Independence (but doubt that people actually sell these beloveds of theirs)...
