I've got an xray on Monday so should find out then... probably off the bike for a couple more weeks though. Still, better to have done it now than summer I guess.

If you've had it pinned should be good in abt 4 weeks.. I could be spouting nonsense though.. good luck for Monday!

Thanks. Can't wait to start riding again, I'm actually looking forward to attempting (probably failing) Brasted Hill Rd :|

So the forecast for sunday doesn't look that great. Will see if it changes tomorrow I guess. @Cazakstan and @KRZ I'm not sure what time I'll be able to get online tomorrow evening (going to watch some cross in Belgium!) so maybe you guys could make a call on it tomorrow?
If it does go ahead shall we say meet at 9:30 outside Catford Halfords (SE6 4NU) .. I've downloaded the coffee voucher suggested by Rosie here holwoodfarm.com/contact/newsletter-sign/ though that does mean coffee at the end of the ride.
If its not many of us the Cafe of Good Hope on Hither Green Lane opens at 9 and does decent coffee. It wouldn't be much of a detour for you guys. Happy to start the ride from there. Its just that there's not too much pavement space.

Yep happy to decide tomorrow! Happy to meet wherever we can decide tomorrow once we confirm we're riding. Rain rain go away!

TBH The weather looks awful. I'm not sure if I want to be out all day in it. I don't think it will be much fun.
Typical, as Monday looks to be pretty good!

agree with KRZ that the weather looks horrendous.. not fun and some of the downhills may be quite sketchy in the wet. reschedule anyone? I'm free next sunday as well
-
• #86
Was really looking forward to it - and not just because I had so much pizza this week :)
But up for next Sunday +Monday spin if it happens -
• #87
Yes, Monday's forecast looks so much better. I'm keen for a ride Monday night too
-
• #88
Phew, tomorrow looks rubbish! Up for Monday, can't do next Sunday but back on it ASAP.

Glad the weather predictions were true, manky manky manky!!

• #90
You lot are weak :-). A 9 mile run in the rain was no trouble..............
(that may be slightly untrue).
-
• #91
Apparently it's going to be like this for the next 6 months... hmm...
-
• #92
Cold is fine I can handle that but soggy gets boring fairly quickly. You're well hard @cafewanda!
-
• #93
Not hard CS, just a touch mad at times, although the distance was a good achievement. I prefer dry weather, preferably hot to very hot.

yeah sorry I haven't had time to reccy the whole ride but if you guys are up for this reccy-ing ride, just to get out there, then yes! I'll need your advice for SW area!
What time can you do? If we meet Kings X for 6pm, roll at 6:30? Too early?
Could then do a pickup at Liverpool St if needed.Sorry it not a solid plan just yet but loving the enthusiasm.

I can't make it tonight now, I am helping a friend learn to drive so I will be sat in the passenger seat of his car in traffic being a human sat nav instead haha.

I only finish work round 6:30-6:45 but don't wait for me, I will either try and catch up
or I'll use the evening to finish my new bike much excite
Excellent suggestion, thanks!
How long until it's all healed up?
