  • That is very low pressure indeed. Would it be functional?

  • Currently riding at 40psi on 38mm, 35 on 42mm Hetres.

I usually set the mountain bike at around 25psi (29 2.1).

  • This is going to be so nice! Have you heard any progress from the powdercoaters yet?

  • what pressure would you run on 37c Paselas?

  • It's being packed to be send over as we speak.

Never ran panaracer at 37mm, different tyres require different pressure despite similar sizes, touring tyres have very stiff sidewall which make it feel spongy if set a little less than idea pressure due to thread squirming and sidewall not flexing enough to absorb vibration.

I weight 75kg so didn't need that high a pressure.

  • Did the builder send you any pics?

  • Nope, not really fussed for picture.

  • Must be lies.

  • I already have a dream bike that does exactly what I want from it, however it doesn't mean I'm not genuinely looking forward to the Elephants, it's a bike I can definitely take out and not worry one iota about getting the mudguard dented, abused it, travel with it, etc.

  • Think the frames arrived in the country, will double check.

  • That looks great, Ed!

Black is so in this year :-)

  • Eager to see this built up.

  • Pink Chris King headset and external bottom bracket and it's good to go, look at the massive clearance on the chainstay!

    Really like his seat clamp.

  • nice! Looking forward to see this build up.

    Rapha homage?

  • Hole in one, especially after seeing the lovely Rourke at the Rapha Cafe.

  • Fantastic what front rack are you going for?

  • Tubus Tara and my old Nitto M18 for now, will get a bigger custom rack (mounted mid-point) to have a porteur bag on it.

  • Thats gorgeous ed! Eager to see the build and to read its touring stories!

  • That's lovely. I especially like the fork - that design has me lusting after a Wold Elm, even though it seems to be a posh Croix De Fer.

Really keen to see it built :)

  • It'll arrived today at work.

  • new bike days are the best :D

  • I like the fact that you went for all black wheels with black tyres instead of silver rims with gumwalls.
