  • Yes man . i bought the bike from Sammy to make sure this bike will stay in Holland ;)

  • Thank you Sig
I was on this bike for a couple of years, when i heard they was gonna close Meesterknecht :(
i jumped in and took the Colnago with me :)

  • Yeah , those Pristine days :)
After Meesterknecht was great , but they could not last , rent etc was getting to high and the money which came in was just not enough.

  • Good call to take it off their hands! There were three colnago pistas on marktplaats recently, technically just two but there was a golden super pista in the background, as well.
@Saarf thanks for the info, I told my friend that he should at least get some colnago decals. I probably won't be able to convince him to get it re-sprayed since he's not much of a bike nerd. Btw: it even has a colnago stamped headset.

  • haha yes i know , but i have no comment about that ;)

  • Hopefully somebody can help me, just bought a super on a whim, I thought it was an '84 , all the parts are period, has 2 top tube cable guides, but it has conflicting details, the head tube lugs are the ones from '72, but the seat stays look like late 80s, and then there is the fork crown which I have never seen before. Have I bought a fake?

  • @Saarf are you selling any masters atm - 57/8?

  • I might

  • This is very nice indeed, but nearly £7K?

  • I'm surprised of the the build on yours. Not that I disapprove in any way (apart fromt the saddle angle obviously...).

  • It's all about the city bars and mudguards. Slight thread derail, soz.

  • I have a nice pair of colnago flash 1 inch forks , suitable for up to a 57cm frame
I was saving these for another build but won't happen any time soon
If any one needs a pair pm me

  • My C40 has cracked at the head tube. Bummer.

  • Been quoted £150 to fix the crack.

  • No. But I like to ride along the canals and that sort of thing, so it makes you think if 20 year-old carbon is the best choice.

  • Any love for the C59
    I'm liking the external bb

  • ;)

  • Might as well show it off here..

  • Might as well show it off over here..

  • Ooh nice!
    Mexico time trial?
Did you see it in the flesh..........or even better is it yours?

  • Same lever boss as my krono. Made by Gipiemme and brazed on to the frame. Took me a fair while to find the boss adapter that fits on top then one day about 20 of them cropped up on eBay all from the same seller :-)

  • Ha ha. Perfect analogy

  • This is a very cool thread. I have looked at all the available Mexicos on ebay and have discovered that none of them are actually Mexicos!
