  • Hi you Colnago-amici. I'm having sort of a "Colnago Clearance" as I have been subjected to some professional changes and I won't be having the time for all my bike related projects (and I'm willing to give priority to riding bikes in stead of working on them). So I am selling most of my unfinished (Colnago) projects:

    I'm selling:

    1 Master Alloy mtb frameset
    1 Ibex Steel mtb frameset
1 Master 1991 frameset (Precisa forks)
1 Master 1986 (?) first generation Master frameset (chromed bent Colnago forks)

Feel free to ask more info if you have any interest. Don't expect to find bargains ;-) as these are not the frames you find very easily.

  • i'll give you 50 euro for that rag-bag assortment, and that's being generous :)

  • 75 and we have a deal.

  • the ibex went cheap on 2ehands, i think we were bidding against each other

    Don't expect to find bargains

perhaps other retail avenues would be more suitable if you wish to yield high returns

  • So it probably will go for "cheap + a small markup" so the real vintage bike speculants can have some profit margin themselves. ;-)

    Interested maybe?

  • size and price on the master '91 please wim?

  • I'm a collector , not speculator ,thanks anyway ;0)

  • I'm a collector , not speculator ,thanks anyway ;0)

than we're two of a kind. Thing is: I'm a collector with more plans than storage space. And since the most recent job changes with more bikes than time. ;-)

@rive_gauche: what you think of 500 € shipped to the UK? Size is 55x55 (CtT).

It's this one (F+F; you can have the group for 100 € more):

  • as a fellow collector, my condolences for selling them

circ 84 super cx v circa 86 cinelli work stand

will be a 1x6/7 sr build

  • Thanks. In the first place I ride bikes and that's why I decided to get rid of the projects that right now are only frames and parts. I'm keeping another 10 bikes (the ones I completed and those that are near completion) so it's not that I'm ending up with nothing.

BTW: the Ibex frameset can go for 375 euro. As you know what I paid for it, you should agree on the fact I only take a small markup.

  • Love that CX-frame. ;-)

  • thanks wim, lovely frame, but too small, hope it finds an appreciative home

  • thanks, debating a total reno, thanks again for the ibex offer as well, but just got my master mtb back, so I'm good

  • Anyone know anything about this colour scheme? It's on my Master, and the only other time I've seen it has been connected with Fondriest when he raced for Lampre in 1993. The lo-pro is supposedly ex Fondriest, was on Ebay a few months ago.

Colnago deeply regrets the recent posting of an image and accompanying social media post that is offensive to women, and not at all appropriate. Colnago has long-supported women's cycling and continues to provide such support, we do not condone sexism, on or off the bike, and sincerly apologize for posting the image. Our social media policies have been clarifed internally to prevent such posts from happening in the future. We respect all members of the Colnago community, and we appreciate the needed feedback many have provided to us on this matter."

    mmmm

  • co blocked complainants posts, not good

Nelle Pierson Thanks for owning up to the error and thank you for setting up new pro-women policies.

It's worth acknowledging that you censored feedback by deleting Colnago community posts and blocking facebook members. That's not appropriate and will only make an important dialogue like this worse.

I love my #Colnago but their marketing leaves a lot to be desired @Colnagoworld

  • Just struck a deal on this from a seller in Italy. I love the AD10 scheme, I already have one dressed in Dura Ace but this has full Campag Chorus which helped me justify just having to have it as well.
It’s coming ‘economy delivery’ so doubt I’ll see it for a good few days but very excited indeed.

I was browsing, looking for a donor bike with a Chorus or Athena groupset to build up a Super frame that I currently have in single speed guise but I saw this but am not so sure that I’ll break it. The groupset would be perfect for the Super and I’d really fancy doing modernish groupset build on the Master, something like Record Carbon 10 speed but I doubt very much that’ll happen and I’ll most likely just keep it as it is………….well not the saddle and bar tape anyhow
