(btw, Agata reffed us against WestWay, and Phil goal reffed the game against Shlong Slots) i think Beagle deserves star ref title so far!

21 games from Div 1 and 28 from Div II = 49 games.

3 refs and 1 stats person required for each game = need for 196 refs/stats keepers over the season.

I think both Ben's deserve special mention, puncture has reffed two of schlongs games... Although I guess beagle reffing so much when he's not even playing in the league gets him extra kudos. Same goes for Ric and anyone else who's not in the league but hangs around to ref.

This was a supper tense game. Each team was only ever ahead by one goal. Jono coffed the ball up in the first thirty and I got a gift. Josh came back with a blaster of a shot that went through Sebs wheel. Jono then turned up the pace with his relentless hustle that carried on into the second half. We got another to tie it up. Both teams proceed to get lots of opportunities but nothing was going in with Ed and Josh making some great saves. I think we lost the ball in our half here from Jono's hustle and Josh got another one . Going into the third chucker the game was tied and we were relived to see Jono taking a brake to middle court. Seb started to come into his own with some great hustle using his size to his advantage, at one point he lost the ball with Jono and Josh on him and dropped his mallet, and without hesitation picked it up and stole the ball back off the two of them in their own half! Later, I got another lucky shot through Tim's bb and Jono in goal couldn't see in coming. With us up Jono was back on it and we were struggling to keep it together, think we lost the ball in our half and jono got another. With five to go I got a look at the goal an got a luck back hander off the post, then it was a stressful final five with Tim and Jono on the double hustle. Great game

Ryan scored all five of their goals. Hot shit.
