Mands, many thanks for dragging me to Regent Street - was a really nice route round the park - I'll defo use that again. Ironically my laziness backfired and the Central line was screwed so I ended up riding home from North Acton anyway.

You know you can rent Bromptons from Peckham Rye station CW? I've got membership which works out at summat silly like £2.50 a day - would be happy to "lend" you my deets if you wanted : )

I think, as a resident of Balham, I are offended Bromptons are not available here, cos we are far superior to the good folks of Peckham sniff I mean, we have Waitrose and a Travelodge, for heavens sake!

CW , not sure whether Caz has an M or a S type, but if she has an M, I have an S you could also try. I find the M more upright but twitchier than the S and the M bars are a little flexy, although I've put an after market extension on my stem so its a little higher to allow for my lankyness. A regular S should be fine for you though as you're a bit diddier than me.

Mine is an S2L two speed! Didn't fancy the noodly M bars.
