  • And whilst this is entirely personal / aesthetic preference, I think this bike would look rad with some moderately shallow trad-bend bars.

I know, but the compacts are comfy :(

  • Thinking about bottle cages... Titanium or crabon?

  • King cages, or nitto...

  • That cockpit shot is pure win for me.

    Definitely crabon on the cages.

  • Deffo Skinny Ti Cages... Otherwise you will overwhelm the bike with modern plastic.

Gotta keep the balance - King Ti.

  • the Arundel stainless cages are pretty nice and minimalist, a fraction of the price of King cages too

  • the Arundel stainless cages are pretty nice and minimalist,** cost the same** as the King Cages too.

    Ftfy.

    Both are awesome cages.

  • My bad, I was thinking of the Ti ones.

  • I really like my Lifeline Ti cage. Very minimal and cheap as cheap chips. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-titanium-bottle-cage/

+1 on the cockpit, BTW. Nice!

  • I have already a pair of arundel, best shape on the market for sure, but I'm not sure about the colour, I wish they made them in gunmetal too...

  • Sweet! Really dislike nago's but this is incredible.

  • Without a doubt the best looking bike on the forum

  • What stem is this?

  • Arundal carbon cages wold look nice

  • What stem is this?

    This stem.
Got Beyond Black model in sale at kinoko, it's -17 90mm.

  • breso this is a fantastic build.

I am currently doing something similar with a Fondriest X-Status. (modern group/ wheels/ finishing kit)

I also went with Zipp Course SL (Stem and Seatpost) with 4Za Cirrus Pro Compact drops (quite hi tech looking for some).

My vote is for carbon cages.
