it's just some marketing nonsense to try and mark out what is clearly very silly as a legitimate competition. Either that or it's a (quite good) joke

I have a pile of drugs here. I wonder if they'll test them for me?

Wow- they are signed up with WADA!
That's the LFGSS out of the picture.

Don't get this at all. They could basically make the same program at Herne Hill with lower production costs and more value. That of course, wouldn't be very 'urban' though.

• #32
All of a sudden it doesn't look as awesome; this from the test event yesterday....

Isn't this meant to be taken around the country, rather than just london?
It pretty much sounds like a boring copy of the minidrome, but i'd still give it a go.

Alcohol still counts as a drug right? Bet that thing would be a right laugh if you we're pissed

yeah I think despite very blurry idea of what the concept is, I think this is meant to be another version of RB minidrome, just tad bigger

Also they state "disc braking" i defo see a caliper.
-
• #39
Maybe the lad's own bike. The disc brakes are on the bikes for borrowing. The cynical part of me would say they're hoping disc-brake over-the-bars crashing will make for good TV....

It's just a loads of marketing bullshit to stop inner city kids injecting marihjuana in their penises for a day.
And break a collar bone instead. -

Ugh.

Is it just me who sees someone falling into that hole in the middle and being pretty badly injured? Doesn't look tat likely the way the tracks being ridden, but still kind of seems like they're asking for it, leaving a hole there, hard edges and all.
-
• #46
You realise they're going to read this thread?
If we all point out the obvious flaws here they'll read it, fix everything and the crashes will be middling at best.
I think the whole thing is great and it should go ahead with no modifications whatsoever.
