So what is the current story with the jersey, exactly please? Has there been a design finalised, and it's just waiting for someone to get organised and collect money and order it?

If there is a design finished, I am happy to co-ordinate collecting orders with money, jersey size requested, etc for the forum.

There were a few of us at Stratford last night and it would have been nice to be kitted up together.

Likewise, happy to stump up deposit on my cc.

@Aroogah @6pt @Velocio Do any of you have a layout / design for the jersey? Do you have a contact at Milltag who you'd been dealing with previously? Have they been informed already that we might be putting an order together, or is it starting from scratch? Thanks.

If you PM me the contact details I'll happily deal with Milltag, and collect orders & monies from people, including their size and so on. I read back up the thread and saw that a quoted price was £70, assume that is still the case...?

As per @dubkev 's message above , can you please let us know what the issues are so we can help and get the kit ordered for spring.
There's quite a few people that have joined BC with the expectation that a kit would become available.
Drop me a p.m if you don't want to discuss in this thread or if there's a finalised design, you can email me a copy and let me know who you've been dealing with a Milltag.

I'm not sure if @Aroogah checks up here very much, as he's got a young(cute) family, and is pretty busy in general.
@Velocio is away on a honeymoon, I think, so also has a decent reason to be away.
I am proposing that the next steps are to help out by sorting the kit out as a forum.
If you're keen to do it- give Miltag a call, and if thats a no g0- we can always try Godfrey, who take about 5 weeks for kit orders (and are awesome, and you can order the kit from them at any point in the year)....

I'm back from honeymoon, but only a month or so into a new job caused by the closure of Microcosm... which means I'm still managing that too.

Right now:

1. We have the design (not yet polished by @6pt as a deliverable to Milltag's specs)
   
2. We have a manufacturer (Milltag)
   
3. We know roughly the costings (subject to Milltag's 2015 price rise)
   
4. We have a shop to pre-sell them on
   
5. We have a bank account to take money, and can make payments to Milltag from that (by bank transfer)
   
   

The only thing we don't have is someone to organise the logistics of glueing those things together, hand-holding the production and ensuring we're happy with the samples, and then receiving the delivery (one big batch) and shipping out to individuals (or arranging collections).

So what we need to make it happen is a volunteer to take over the bit that will prove time-consuming... finishing it all off and getting them out to people.

I'm happy to provide details of all of the above to a person who wants to step up and take it over.

Essentially, we need a volunteer to:

1. Offer the jerseys for pre-sale for a few weeks (to take in cash, and to know precisely what sizes and quantities to order)
   
2. Take the pre-sale info and submit an order with Milltag
   
3. Quality check the samples and delivery
   
4. Distribute the received delivery, some via compass beers, some via post (money will be given for packaging and stamps, etc as it will be included in the price).
   
   

Let the volunteer step forth knowing that they will own this.

If the kit order could be set for after February the 17th, and I wouldn't have to do anything until then- I will happily volunteer.
Before that- I need to focus on other things.
I posted up here as I was setting the thread for the racing contingent, and thought I may as well.
