but please no honeycomb.
Honeycomb is out.
There will be a pattern on the dark material, in such low contrast it's barely visible. But it's not going to be honeycomb.
And to those wondering, it's also not going to be a sprocket pattern.
It will just be a barely perceivable pattern on the dark material.

Oh, and I did try it without any touches whatsoever, but it didn't really work.
It needed something, just small things to give it some distinction from the side and to help recognition when hunched forward. The touches are very small though, barely a couple of inches at the bottom of the side panels, and only 4 or so inches on the underside of the arm cuffs.
The neck one would only be slightly visible if your top is unzipped and flapping in the wind.
I was actually against putting the ribbon on it, but it works in very small amounts.

I would be very surprised if we could obtain a regular slot at the velodrome. An occasional booking, probably having to use an authorised coach may be the best we can hope for. I've done that in Manchester with a club of which I am a member.
Certainly there will be restrictions on number and so a fully fledged LFGSS Tarck Day with tramp beers etc is not in the offing.

Suddenly the urge to make a Team Zissou style uniform is overwhelming me.
Do reckon that's where Rapha got the style for their shirts?

That's cool.
I think most people would be OK with being half-serious for a day and not drinking anywhere near that Siberian Pine.
And a couple or few times a year is all we'd need. Anyone wanting to ride regularly should join a club there or go to the open sessions. Ours would just be one-off club sessions, every now and then.

honeycomb has some weird corporate feel, you need a subtle sprokets type pattern that can be used as the background to the black foreground colour.
Sprockets would be cool.

Freaking large, and freaking small.
That would be medium in a real world.

Honeycomb is out.
But it could work so well with the unicorns.

Have that went into production? I couldn't find anymore information on this.
£70 I think, I'd have to check which involves looking in another thread and feels like a lot of effort.
The standard price for club jerseys is between £35 and £45. We're aiming for that range, it's a well-established price point that I'm not going to break.
That said, if you're in Australia and ordering one, then of course the P&P is extra. I will do deliveries to compass beers so the P&P overhead is optional but collection in person will be at my convenience (compass beers for 1 week).
I've no idea what their schedule and process is.
All I'm attempting to do is to get ourselves into whatever state best improves our chances of getting in there for a club session.
One of the key points of the club is to improve the odds we can open such doors, but it still isn't a guarantee that we'll suddenly get to choose the date and time and terms of us getting such access. We're subject to the same process as any other club asking for access.
Having a suddenly large and growing club focused on the grass roots level of introducing people to sport is certainly the key thing that should help us here. Certainly better than "bunch of people from an internet forum".
