  • black and grey urban camo, for the repressed mass murderer that lurks inside each cyclist?

Well it does make you look slimmer...

  • Plain black may already be too similar to another team's kit if you're trying to go for BC affiliation.

  • ^^^ made me laugh - boss thought was mad. difficult to explain...

  • Do I have to race? I have no working knees.

  • nice idea velocio.

    +1

  • Am colluding with Milltag on some ideas. Will mock them and see what looks half decent

Don't mock them too much, they might put the prices up :)

This all sounds good, like most I don't see any real problems with this, it should add a valuable air of legitimacy which is useful with bureaucrats and open up some doors for the forum.

Are you absolutely confident that this isn't going to mean we need public liability insurance to run a forum ride or anything like that though? I make an exception for the Foulness ride where I have to accept legal responsibility for anyone who rides onto the island with me, but I (and, I'm sure, everyone else) wouldn't want that for every forum ride...

I suppose generally I'm asking have you fully considered the legal implications? I'm sure you have though, just checking ;)

  • Fox, being a BC affiliated cc should remove any current liability issues forum rides are exposed to.

Given the number of forum rides going on, there is a strong case for LFGSS having a cc for these to operate under whilst still allowing open participation.

  • Do you think the insurance would cover Indra?

  • He needs crash test dummy insurance.

  • nope

  • Great idea,
Did you get any inclination ( even if you want to keep it hush hush) of when a lfgss.cc may be able to start booking?

How quickly are you hoping to turn this around?

  • Do you think the insurance would cover Indra?

I think weekly claims would probably send the premium sky high.

  • Do I have to race? I have no working knees.

Yes but tandem racing is permitted.

  • Could the kit be something like this?

  • If you take enough acid, yes.

  • Would it not be better off just making a different version of the current LFGSS, that way it could just be another LFGSS but with CC on it, and if people are racing under the club name they could wear it.

It doesn't have to come across as a super serious club that are focusing on races and points etc, but there's no reason that you guys shouldn't be taken into account as an official club if you register.

  • You can always put your own patches on it.

yet still no patches on the elbows.. oliver i am disappoint ;)

    I can't say I understood this.

  • first paragraph is about jerseys I think.

  • Yeah I made a balls of trying to explain myself. Basically, either way if you're registering as a club with any of the official boards it's going to come across as a serious club.

Just do another run of the original Milltag LFGSS jerseys and stick CC on them somewhere.

  • Plain black may already be too similar to another team's kit.

And you will, automatically be assumed to be "that Rollapalutza courier club lot" with plain black. Whether you like it or not.

Why not something original? I would suggest something that signifies both the history and diversity of London's famous London, whilst solidly representing the simplicity of a fixed wheel drivetrain.

(So Houses of Parliament on the back and Hippy's mugshot on the front should do it)

  • Kit is under control.

We won't be confused with Sky, Rollapaluza, Grupetto, or anyone else.

Well, maybe we'll be confused with Robin Thicke.

  • ^^ :) but on hippy mugshot is needed the "wanted".

  • Which doesn't make him automatically a fugitive, surely he is not the kind.

Not sure "wanted" is the correct word in this case.
