So, it ain't in the 'rules', but is anyone feeling especially fussy over bike type. Thinking about that distance on a 82" gear, steel rat bike is not giving me good thoughts...
Gear down but I reckon you'll be fine.

Earthloop, are you going to post the route in a format that is downloadable to a Garmin? Perhaps in http://www.ridewithGPS.com or http://www.Bikeroutetoaster.com. From there we can download it in any format.

The route is on ridewithgps, it's linked from the first post in the thread. Don't download it yet though, I'm still fiddling with it

Just seems the wrong way around..as anti-clockwise makes starting easier and dealing with the central london traffic on fresh legs is safer then with the appeal of country pub awaiting its more likely to draw me to the end.
Then jump on trains (with tickets obviously) to get back...
Is it too late to change all plans, do this in reverse and make the weather somthing like it was in midsummer...?
What am I missing / who am I upsetting by point this out. -

What am I missing / who am I upsetting by point this out.I'd say yes. Who wants to end up in Sidcup? And trains can>>>>>>>>>>
Central is a better location to finish and probably more convenient for most. If people are getting tired towards the end it will be easier for them to head home rather than being in the outer limit wilderness.
You can't change the weather, if it rains it rains, you have the right to stay in bed or do it in summer if you prefer.

Given the numbers might it be an idea to have two groups starting different ends... friendly race to see which group can make it to the 90km mid point first?
Whoever gets around in the quickest time should have the right to decide the direction next year in the least like the amercias cup.

Is it just me, or is the Strava route image not showing any more? Trying to figure out if I'm going to do this.
