I'm liking the strawberry lemonade.

I've begun drinking these most mornings as a kind of berocca alternative, nothing wrong with that right?
-
• #457
Apart from being bankrupt in a year, no.
-
• #458
Yes that is a concern as I'm nearly out.
Love the cherry and lime. -

Obviously they are evil an' all that but the cheapest I could find was via Amazon and their sorta standing order function, Subscribe & Save....Nuun Active Hydration Kona Cola Tablets - 12 Count Tablets Per Tube, Pack of 8: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care
Am off coffee atm for some oddness so the Kona Cola is kickstarting my day in the interim

Am running low too.
Add to the list of 'different uses for Nuun' :-
Give to elderly relatives when there is a heatwave.
Have given a couple of tubes to my mum who doesn't drink enough water and is really struggling in this heat. Not the ideal answer, but it does seem to be encouraging her to drink a little bit more. -

Knocked back three today when playing tennis for two hours in the mid day sun. Felt great. Sunburnt arms though :(

That's the one flavour I don't like. Bit too metallic or too similar to those cola bottle sweets I gorged on as a kid. Which is odd considering my firm Nuun favourite is still Grape, and that's exactly the same flavour as a medicine I loved back then.I hope your coffee withdrawal isn't too bad and the oddness gets resolved soon!

^^ now see the fact that the Kona Cola reminds me of cheap Rola Cola/old school cola is why I like it.
sophisticated taste buds me ; )
Oh and the "Off Coffee" oddness lasted all of a 2 days until I came back to my senses :D

Wiggle have started doing their own brand tabs in lemon or blackcurrant but they are only £3 / 20 which is a bit of a bargain
-
• #468
Same hangover fixing properties as nuun?
-
• #469
how do they taste?
i bought a ton of sis tabs, but they have a bizarre after taste (of vitamins etc), what i like about nuun is there is much less aftertaste, and generally the flavours are clean and palatable.
-

The blackcurrant one is like really watered down Ribena and so way less strident than SIS berry and dissolves cleanly. Lemon like a very mild lemon squash drink and a maybe bit more artificial flavour but nothing like those sugar free drinks with awful aftertastes.

Just read the newsletter, more super hangover tablets ordered. Probably use some for actual cycling for DD though too.
