Slightly related. I want to replace my 8 speed sciroccos as they are the old heavy type and get blown all over the place in the wind. What are my options for a cheap, modern-ish low profile 8 speed campag wheelset?

What happened with this in the end? Rebuilding a 10s lever atm so trawling the forum for knowledge and wisdom.

10s is fine-you can still buy the parts easily online and there are Campagnolo service videos on youtube to follow. it's the 8 speed stuff you can't get anymore

Yup, just wondering whether any 3D printing/CNC-ing occurred for this project and if any good came of it. 10s parts are getting scarce/expensive as well btw.

Oh right, sorry.
I never did anything with it and just turned my back on vintage ergos tbh-annoying to hear 10spd stuff is getting scarce now too though as 11spd campag below chorus is fucking shit and I hate their levers. Have transitioned onto SRAM on two bikes already so I guess that might be the death-knell for my Campag usage!

Yeah I like to use the 10s levers for shimergo setups and the older ultrashift stuff is great. I found some spare springs locally and also on a slightly dodgy-looking french website just now. http://www.xxcycle.com/index.php if anyone is interested.

Also Graeme of http://www.velotech-cycling.ltd.uk have very kindly given me advice on things. I'm getting the spring retainer rings from them and they seem to know and stock everything related to ergos. @graeme_the_bike_tech on here.
No rush so that's fine , let me know
