Definitely an impressive looking wound, glad you're all in one piece.

Great ride. Had to bail early to fix a puncture just outside MI5. Couldn't quite make contact again, so the great man Dicki rode back with us to the east. Thanks Dicki - great to meet you (and all the rest).
Hope the head wound heals well.

Hey Keramic
I had a ringside seat for your impressive road surface head examination!
That fact you remember is a good sign, I normally don't in my crashes.
the hair will grow back - mostlyGlad you enjoyed the snickers ;)
If anyone saw the incident (over the bars somersault to head plant), please use the memory of it when you feel a bit down, to cheer yourself up. If you see me in the street please do stop me, laugh in my face and walk off. Good times!

Hat pick up off of Vauxhaul Bridge
Race across Albert Bridge
Friday retards at Putney Bridge - not as much of highlight but note-worthy even if they were wankers
Race towards Kew
Keramic aerobatics followed by a small river of blood
Cruisey ride back with Keramic stopping by each street light to check on coagulation processThanks to all and see you on the next one

Tommy - that picture is amazing! Looks like you got attacked by a grizzly bear!
Here's a shot of the last time I used my head to stop (circa 2011)... taken before the stitches went in - 12 stitches inside, 7 on the outside to pull it back together. I had to get the doctor to hold the wound open for me.

well that didn't go quite according to plan but every cloud and all that
stopped off for the puncture at the MI5 building then tried to catch the group
sounds like we ( bga +1 ) skipped one bridge to try and catch up with the peleton and that was the bridge you were all waiting at ! doh !but nice ride back east with two new forumengers, nice gentle roll through central was very pleasant
i was talking to someone on the ride saying how diverse a community lfgss was and thinking back on the night here is a list of people i met
an architect
an astrophysicist
a doctor
a nurse
a sociopoliticist
and of course cornymost excellent

'He said he was in pain' - classic understatement.
Is there a dedicated thread for cycle crash gore photos? It should have links to helmet reviews.

Greetings and love to each and every one.....,
Well what a great ride on Friday. For those not familiar with MA3K rides, they are of the highest quality and well worth checking out...
I had a really great time. Sorry for any issues caused by my presence at the Putney Bridge stop, I was getting hassle from inebriated locals - not violence or anything, just really inappropriate, rude questions that those local individuals would never dare ask unless they were v pi$$ed...... Thank you Corny, John and others for dealing so well with it.
I came out on this ride to hang out with the wheat rather than the chaff....I expect we all saw that 'domestic' on the north side of the river between Chiswick and Kew bridges - oh dear.....
I set off early for this and had a ride around beforehand and afterwards took a spin back via Kensington, Chelsea and then Battersea then home so it was 58.10 miles on the clock.
Now I know I need to get out a bit more and I'm getting on a bit (45) but was it me or does the whole on London seem to be on the lash on a Friday?
Thanks again John for another great ride!!!
Peace and Love and hope to see you on the next one...,
Tim
