Good fun tonight, pretty annoyed I had to bail so early but flying out in the morning and had to get my bike ready for the flight.
Hope everyone else is having good fun and was great to see so many people out!

Any update on the bloke (Aussie?) who went to hospital?
-
• #65
no idea but he was leaking a fair bit of claret when I left them on their way to an a&e when i was riding backstop for the group.
such a shame it happened so close to the end of the ride. hope he's ok.

as for me I was all cocky letting my garmin guide me home using the automated route back to my stored home location.
except it took me straight to richmond park which was locked up tight and every single detour i took just presented me at another locked gate. need to stick my garmin in to see where exactly the fuck it was I went.
despite that I'm home and my dinner is in the the oven (finally) and it's still earlier than the time we made it to the pub after my first bridges ride 2 years ago.

That was a really good evening. Nice to meet everyone, my first group ride and not my last if I have anything to do with it.
Anyone film the nonsense outside the Tate Modern?

great ride! I had to leave early due to head planting 1/2 a km from kew bridge! haha
If anyone saw the incident (over the bars somersault to head plant), please use the memory of it when you feel a bit down, to cheer yourself up. If you see me in the street please do stop me, laugh in my face and walk off. Good times!
Don't worry about the blood, it was just a scratch... My head always pumps out quite a lot - it's not the first time this has happened. This one was particularly impressive as I could feel blood literally squirting out of my head. I'm sure the doctor will give me an aspirin for my crushed ego.
Thankfully the bikes fine - the bike gods find me amusing.
Big shout out to: The guy that gave me a tissue, the other guy who gave me a snickers flap jack ( tasted a lot better than it looked ), and the rest of the concerned pack that stopped to make sure I wasn't road pizza. Especially temp who rode home with me - to make sure I made it in one piece! Cheers !
No, only Čiq will be playing songs.
