I have one of the swiss keys, bottle opener is a bit awkward but decent for a tenner. These are also decent
.
The bonus of both is that you can fly with them and security never complain.Have there actually been any documented instances of RFID theft in the wild. Lots of reference to it happening in labs but not seen a mention of it actually happening in reality. Alternatively, I do have a few Altoids tins knocking around.

I too have a ultli-key, it's very handy for the odd thing, I do use the screwdriver. Bottle opener is poop.

^^ Tin foil hat tin time :) but I'd be interested to know about RFID incidents in real life as well. I had a quick look at my banks security pages and there are no references to it on there. I did see a note on one site that said having 2 RFID cards in a wallet may stop them being scanned as there are two conflicting sources to be read.

I've got one of these, really useful.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if you can get your bank to deactivate your RFID or issue a non-RFID card?
-

My wallet has about 4 RFID cards in it so imagine that could be fairly scrambled.
A friend requested a non-RFID card from his bank. Took a bit of back and forth but got one in the end.

Apart from the swan-based incident that led the police to rethink their equipment policy on the previous page, has anyone else freed an animal lately?

I've just noted that the OP was/is in Wales. Fair enough. Just struck me as a funny reason to be carrying a knife in London. Not that I think there's anything inherently wrong with that either.

I use a knife to open packaging, cut zipties/etc and a few other bits at work, so I leave it in my locker at work when I go home.
I do have a Leatherman Mini in my bike tool-kit but that's buried deep in the bag rather than being close to hand.

Can anyone recommend me a new torch, would need to have the following:
- only one mode (none of that flashing nonsense)
- single AAA battery
- ideally 300ish lumens
I currently have one of these
Which, whilst unbeatable for the price, is getting a bit hammered after 2.5 years in my pocket.

I have carried a knife daily for several years, and aways will. I have no intention of using it for self protection, or as an offensive weapon. Normally it is on a leatherman tool, but I also have a tiny little sheffield folding knife. I don't know what the fuss is about, it is people using them as stabbing tools that can do one.

I carry one of these on my keyring...perfect for those extreme tactical Amazon parcels....
