I recently bought a freekey* keyring (plus the smaller keyrings). I really like it so far partly because it is easier to deal with your keys, but also partly because it just kind of feels good. They are currently on a regular carabiner but I wish they weren't.
I was after one of BRP's key clips but they are kind of hen's teeth. Does anyone know if 31trum's leather ones clip on to your belt loop with the HK sling clip or does the leather thing go around your belt?
If the leather bit goes around your keys, why does it have a button?

Leather bit goes around the belt, clip holds your keys.

Ahh that's what I was afraid of. Thanks!
I ordered some of those clips. I am going to try and fashion something out of para cord I think.

No doubt BRP will make some more in the not too distant future.

This is my home made multi-tool. I got fed up with big chunky tools that couldn't get into small spaces, so I made this from a few bits I found at work. The little bar is a T-bar for getting a bit of torque, the bit adapter is just super glued to the shaft. I didn't think this would stand up to much abuse, but it's been going strong for a few months now. I'm planning to make a swann-norton scalpel attachment for it too, but managed to lose my handle somewhere. All fits nicely in a drill bit box.

I was going a bit mad with my work keys always being so awkward to use, everything was on separate rings and it was really cumbersome in my pocket. So I ordered this:
True Utility TU245 KeyRing System: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors
Its a world of improvement
Before:
After:
They now sits much flatter in my pocket meaning I no longer get stabbed horribly when I run up and down the stairs.

Dom is the mater of this, I believe he goes to work in Europe with just the clothes he's wearing, a laptop, charger, iPhone cable and tooth brush.
He wishes his clothes every night in his room. Dude is has a super minimal carry -

^^ cheers. I've been meaning to look for an iphone 4 version.
^ reads like you wrote that on a portable apple device. But it is a good point when you look at a lot of "pocket dumps". There always seems to be a lot of doubling up. Why have x2 leathermans? Why have a pry bar if you have a leatherman? Etc.
Still I do find it intriguing in a voyeristic(sp?) way.

I think the american ones look a bit silly, 3 knives, a gun, etc nothing actually useful like usb cables or some string

I was just thinking the same thing. Let me empty my pockets:
In the wallet is a bank card, a credit card, money and a picture of my girlfriend and not in the picture is my phone/camera. (A smashed Galaxy S3 mini.)
When I go for a proper ride, I don't bother with the d-lock or wallet, I just have money, my bank card and some basic tools/puncture repair stuff in my jersey pocket.

The Micra is for personal grooming and has a great set of scissors.
The Blast is for everything else.I would actually like a third Leatherman, (PS4) or some small vice grips as well.
The Widgy is for popping cardboard staples and general poking which would snap a Leatherman.
Really useful to have all that stuff from office to workshop to warehouse to on-site, I have a quite a varied job..

Inspired by your post above I bought the same bit of kit, but I must warn you (proved on a recent trip) that the case may be considered showerproof, but DEFINITELY not watertight. Sat on a beach drying out currency in the sun for quite a while :-D
Is this something people brag about now? Did I miss a meeting at some point?
Is there a local village in Eastern Europe called Essexski?
