  • I think whip skidding in the middle of the road in front of people should be added to this list.

I think I may be the inspiration for this comment.

    I agree.
    It's a dick move.
    Sorry mate.

Only from going on forum rides with people more experienced than myself have I learned to ride better in a group.

I didn't know what 'half wheeling' was until I moved into the road and my rear hit someone's front and they crashed out on a ride. Now I point out when people are doing it and how it can be dangerous.

If you know better, educate those who don't, even if it comes across as condescending. It could spare them and you an accident.

  • These are great guidelines.

  • Shit fixie for sale in 5, 4, 3, 2...

    That's "overlapping" not 'half wheeling'.

Like bragging at a dinner party about wealth, nobody appreciates a rider who constantly forces the pace to prove his strength. Half-wheeling, the term used to describe a rider who is constantly pushing the pace half a wheel in front of the others, is an insult not a compliment. *

  • ^^Don't see how you can have a crash like that caused by half-wheeling? I've never heard of it being thought of as dangerous, just a dick waving excercise.

Riding side by side is often better for drivers Tha riding single file. (not all drivers realise that though)

  • These videos are excellent. Were those aerial shots done by camera drone?
