I'm actually thinking of starting some TNRC lite after school specials through the summer, if people are interested? Like Bendix's Afterworkers but more like 30 miles rather than 50...

Good idea Poots! I'm trying to do at least one 50 mile after work ride each week (not this week though) but have also been leading my excolleagues on 20 mile jaunts, I'm sure we can work out some happy medium*.

Yeah, I'll be up for that as well. Please don't do actual Tuesday nights though as I am having enough difficulty with Tuesdays as it is what with dance classes and TNRC and circus skills workshops all on the same evening

Yeah, fam. Hoops n poi and contact juggling and all that stuff. They meet up at the Rag Factory near Brick Lane every Tuesday. There will be, in fact, a beginner's poi workshop held there by one of my mates next Tuesday (14th) if anybody is bored of cycling and wants to come along.

Oh hello, I remember you!! Those saddles are absolute killers. Did you get some padded shorts in the end?

I had padded tights on.
Just an awful saddle.
I was wearing white/clear mavic jacket and pink specialized helmet plus red over socks... and older than everyone else : /

As Bothwell has already confirmed (blabber-mouth) it's about the bike, not whether it's geared, fixed/ss.
