I doubt Sky want the pink jersey yet, as defending for two weeks is an enormous task. Best to let someone else have it whilst you bide your time until the final week.

Conversely, Wiggins needs to get a decent amount of time back on his rivals today, so the pink jersey might come as a consequence of that.

He must show his mettle today for his and the teams confidence... then bide time

doesn't seem to bother Wiggo though, overtaking Di Luca within 10 minutes; riding 10% faster. if he keeps that up he'll have passed 7 or 8 riders before the TT's finish
