I was surprised he went for a stage win today after yesterday, I'm not surprised he's knackered. I think he's getting stronger though, I really think he can do it.

Where was Goss today then, thought he saved himself yesterday to compete today?

Hanging back with his Bros?

Apart from where he got boxed in and had to give someone a firm nudge to get them to move over.
I enjoyed that part - no fucking about, this is mine!

Dropped on the final lump, so far as I could see. Finished over 15 minutes back.

That looks like a kid's bike. Is he on 650c wheels?
Great win today. He opened it up so early after bullying his way out. No different to Bouhanni I suppose but Cavendish has sort of earned the right.

with all the negative commentary Francis got he's probably sitting under a flyover somewhere with Lance and Phil sharing a needle and staring vacantly at mouldering concrete pillars having flogged all his cycling gear to fund his habit...

The RaiSport highlight show had a short montage to Hesjedal and Wiggo last night. Ryder was portrayed in a bit more of a sympathetic light.
-
• #1348
Because he was getting dropped on the climbs not the descents?
Despite Wiggo been a good Giro for our mob, 5 stage wins and counting

Inner ring reporting that the galibier is off on sunday. Which looking at the picture higher up the page cannot be too surprising.
"In addition it seems that Sunday’s Galibier stage will be substantially shortened after the French government préfet has ruled the snow and avalanche danger is too high for the Mont Cenis and Galibier summit finish, instead it’s likely tomorrow’s stage finishes above Valloire so after the Col du Télégraphe but only on the start of the Galibier."

Crap.
I'd think, with the stages to come, then Cadel Evans is a better bet at the moment.
