I'm not just saying this because I think @BlesUp should keep his wheels but bmx racing bikes are very different to the type of bmx you'd use for tricks. Might be cool if you're just planning on popping to the local pump track but I'm sure some places wouldn't even let you on their track with the wrong type of bike.

Anyone remember the Volume bar end plugs?

By tightening, you expanded a squishy rubber bung which gripped the inside of the bars.

I loved mine, need to get some more like that.

i do vaguely, they were quite similar to the nitto or hope ones ?
