Here me on my 'mex. I barely ride now and this is an old pic when I first got my new frame (mutiny conjurer) back in April/may time.
It's a v1 conjurer, premium FYB forks, glamroids, proper TL stem, profiles on shadow rims, thunderbolts.

always a good idea to have a back up, i own 3 Fit S2is

Not really hoarding, more like finding an identical model (other than colour) to replace my beat up black one. My bike feels perfect so why mess around with a new frame with the latest geometry, I can't get on with anyone else's bike now everything has 9+" bars and tiny chainstays.

Looks killer!
I dont get it either.
I rode some 8.25s for a bit before Scerbs and they felt huge...
freaks me out man -

Cheers Dakin.
Obviously everyone is different and the new geometry seems to work for plenty of people, but I do wonder if some of them might find it even easier if they cut their bars down a little bit or unslammed their back wheels so they don't have to worry about catching their feet. I'm hoping it's just the fashionable thing at the moment and it'll die down and return to a happy medium, similar to the lightweight super low slung frame thing that happened 5 years or so ago.

BMX is terrible for fashion from what little I know. I hate how everyone rides brakeless... fucking nothing wrong with brakeless but I'd love to know what percentage of BMXers wish they had a brake out back but can't possibly fit one because they don't want to be the only one in their group.
And I really don't get the thing for massive bars, on MTBs as much as BMX.
You're right, you know very little.

Riding brakeless BMX isn't very hard

But with all the trend talk, i have to admit moving from 7.75x25" bars to 8.25x27" bars was probably the best thing i've done to my bike

8.25x27 is what my united grandes are at, solid setup. I ghetto grinded my hamiltons CS down to 13.25 and slammed it, wanna move it back out to 13.5 as is sharp as fuck but just too twitchy for shooting the 3s.
Where am I wrong then, educate me.
BMX may be susceptible to waves of trends but in no way would anyone ever want to put a brake on and not do it cos they were afraid of what their riding buds would say, BMX just isn't like that.
"that a brake m8? don't bovver coming out for a session with us again" said no one, ever.
as for the big bars, for people who have rough backs as a result of BMX it makes sense and the general consensus is it gives a bit more control and stability. simples
