  • Chicago'd to fuck!

It looks a lot better there than it did sitting on my shelves though. Enjoy.

  • Good times man. I never got to BR Liverpool but was at the first in Newcastle and the second in Sheffield. Grew up riding with all the Newcastle lot so getting to see the likes of Newrick, Cookie, Olly Olsen, The Count etc gives me some of the best memories from BMX.

I've actually been sorting through loads of stuff and realised how many Logan/DFTU shirts I have from the old days. Need to have a clear out so if anyone wants some UK BMX history, let me know. Don't really want to send it to the bin or charity shop!

Ah man, i would be super keen. Used to have the HHH, Undertone, DFTU shirts mega years ago... What ya got, what sizes and how much? BOOM!

  • If they're bigger sizes i'll take them off you gladly.

Sorry chaps. Put a shout out on twitter and they all got rehomed superquick. I do have a rare medium Logan purple sweatshirt that Baz did with a Dipset style print on. Pretty in your face. Let me know if that's of any interest.

Sounds sick, can I get a look?

You can dude. Might be a bit tight on you but I'll try and bring it up with your shoes!

  • Nice Standard. Bonus points for having Homers front and rear.

That's an acceptable name drop, I sessioned the flatbank at Southbank with him at the last Dub Jam, he's sound.

Cheers, I was riding most through the heat-treated/built to last era so everything was made with lifetime warranties. Never had to actually warranty anything though.

Cookie and Ben doing the law court rails alongside each other at BR Liverpool was so good.

That standard is awesome. Still swear by G-Sport Gland hub/spoke guards.

G-Sport basically made the best BMX parts ever.

I have that as a one of my desktops man, Aswell as a sequence of MARV doing a smith to 180 on the ledge/stairs at Southbank

  • Anyone selling any Scerbos?
Or know where I can get some?

  • Volt in Stoke Newington?

  • NurseHolliday your standard is sick, i don't really ride anymore, but iv built up my 2002 metal dagger, and its an absolute treat.

  • My nephew has just won the cruiser class at the world championships in New Zealand please support Juan Carlos Dias Serna he is fantastic.

Awesome! I went and watched practice yesterday. There were some kids who were WAY to young to be jumping as high as they were. Bastards. Couple of nasty crashes as well. Are you over in NZ as well?

  • No afraid not so he needs all the support possible, the colombians are also good for a party make friends support Juan Carlos.

  • Unfortunatly I will miss the rest. I will let my freind know (who is working there) to shout for Juan Carlos.

  • Thanks please do it will be much appreciated and he is lovely lad.

  • What class age catagory is he in?

  • Not to sure where he is competing but he is 15 and generally tends to punch above his weight, but I imagine the WCs will keep him in his age thats him on the photo group.http://www.bmxworldsnewzealand.com/News

  • Nice one Juan Carlos & citron.

More good news Kelvin Batey won the Masters class earlier in the week, top result, seen him training plenty at Manc Indoor.

Hoping Liam Phillips can win the elite rainbow jumper, his gf's dad posts on lfgss.

  • I know I'm going to get some hate for this but bmx racing isn't bmx. The only thing we share with them is a wheel size. Bmx is about creativity and style (and fun) not who can get through the pump track fastest.

Can we go back to talking about Bob bars, G-sport hubs and pegs now please?

  • ^ Rep'd.

BMX racing is closer to velodrome racing..

  • To be fair to Citron the second post in this thread is of a race bike.

  • not that im telling the dude to get out.
    just that needs tricks

  • sorry no offence meant.

  • None taken. The forum is a big place we could easily have a bmx racing thread, not everything with those three letters needs to be in the same place.

  • get out of it, i love wizzing about the local pump track on smooth tyres and 4 pegs.
