  • Managed to get ahold of some 170mm Omniums. Was really hoping to go Sugino, but that's not looking likely at this rate, so SRAM it is!

  • omniums are the biz!

  • Just got the call from John at 14 that the frame is built, heading to Armourtex early next week to be sprayed.

Managed to get my hands on some Rotor cranks at a good price, so the Omniums are likely to be up for grabs (Tp88 has advance dibs, I believe) soon.

Otherwise, everything is pretty much as listed before. Should have a set of wheels ready for it by arrival date, too. Exciting!

  • It's coming.

  • yay:)

  • Beast!

  • (like)

  • looks tiny!

  • He's gonna say that to you on the next slide.

  • Doubt I'll have to wait till then Giles is a native.

  • Very roughly compared to the photo of the 54cm one further up the page it looks ok (using a scoble-esque background measurement). Should be coming in about 63cm C-T. We'll see when it arrives, I guess!

  • What's the top tube measure?

  • 59cm IIRC

  • Getting closer. Building on Saturday.

  • Looking big!

  • Nice... T rex club?

  • You getting any Decals on?

  • Yes giles!

  • looks tiny!

    Looking big!

What a difference a paintjob makes!

    Nice... T rex club?

Forum talk translation? If you mean it looks a bit short in the top tube department, then consider there'll be a layback seatpost and 120-130mm stem involved too.

    You getting any Decals on?

Keeping things as minimal as possible. There's a few bits on the decal sheet I like, and I have a few small self-produced pieces to put on. Not running with the giant 14R block logo though, no.

  • Was more reference to the rotors than the puny size....

  • Looks great! I'm getting the Royce cranks fitted at the minute

  • A few tweaks needed, but we're up and riding.

  • Real nice

  • So nice, what wheels? Sorry if you've already mentioned it

  • real nice. cant help but think that the seattube cutout looks off? ive noticed this on ty's aswell.... maybe just the camera angle/lighting

i have ridden tom15xw's and they really are great frames. extremely stiff for steel, but still very comfortable
