  • I might try this out at the weekend - in which case I'll try to remember details of road surfaces, as I recall they took a bit of a hammering over the winter.

  • Yes please! Will be riding home, not sure about riding out yet.

    16 Mile TT from central
makes a nice change from the 24 mile TT

That's a very good point. Although it'll actually be a TTT

  • des, obviously i know the route and am happy to backstop.

Cheers Jonny - you'll only be looking after me at the back. Will be good to see you out there again on a Tuesday, with yourself and andyp it's getting very old school. All we need now is pmj and clintsmoker...

  • sneaks look at elevation profile

    OUT

Might do it one day next week on my own, a little different to my usual route to Plaxtol which is a bit a-roadtastic. Have fun!

  • There's one tough climb, Exedown, the rest is draggy so don't let that put you off.

  • I promise to be at the back again, or off the back

I'll be sans carradice, possibly sans dynamo et avec derailleur

  • According to the routes on ride with gps there's less climbing on this one than both Welwyn and Roydon. As Andy says, only Exedown is tough and that's short and walkable if need be.

  • indeed, I've always found Exedown eminently walkable

the climb up from Eynsford is really quite mild

the drop into Knatts Valley will, if you dislike braking, take a bit more nerve than I have at my disposal

Sam, all these TT's were worth it, you are not old school anymore!

well happy to lead alongside andy if required. to be real proper we need sam out there too!

will speak to clintsmoker about this and see if i can twist his arm

  • In, joining train at Crofton park.

But not adding to list in case jinxes me, and work comes in. I love work as it means I can eat, but I love tnrc cos it means ... well ... you know what it means.

  • I do like this route but I will make my mind up after the Dulux.

This is true, I only looked at the graph instead of the numbers. Draggy hills are my least favourite, though. I'll decide after assessing the damage Fox does to my sensitive flower legs on Going Nuclear part 1, I think.

  • Potentially in. All depends on if I can get out of work on time. Would meet you at St Mary Cray. Won't be adding my name to any lists.

  • Gutted I can't make this OG fest, but I am in Sheffield all next week.

    My home route too.
