I had a phone call today to say my wheels are ready so i'll be collecting them tomorrow hopefully!

Sorry the Raleigh got sold the other week. However I do have wheels now, thanks to Brian in Micycle Stroud Green for doing a amazing job.

bit of a left field question but what is the difference between the hayes and avid bb7s?

And what is the angle on that stem?

The hayes are hydraulic and the BB7's are cable pull.

I think the stem is 10 degrees

A hair more progress, faffed for ages with the front mudguard last night. I suspect i may end up paying someone else to do it to save me smashing it to thousands of tiny pieces. I also will need to get the rear brake hose cut down by about 6 inches.

you should probably get a chain too

I have one, its just not going on until i've given it a bloody good clean and grease
