I also ordered some Cinelli gel pads to put under the brooks tape, but now i'm wondering if I should just get extra thick dsp lizard skin. What do you guys think?

it looks like black leather tape actually, i only really want brooks for aesthetic reasons tbh

depents on your riding position I'd say.

If you're not planning on much saddle>bar drop I'd go for brooks :)
