  • Not to worry Indra... think he's been drinking.

  • I've bought Seta frame set from classifieds. It came with 4za Ellyps carbon track fork. I was wondering if it was possible to drill it and fit a brake? Thanks.

It isnt possible to drill the fork if its carbon I would say

  • Even if it were possible, good luck getting anyone to tell you so, with all the assumed liability that involves

  • Don't drill carbon.....
Don't fuck with it in any way, only do what they say you can, don't abuse it*.

Get a drilled fork if you want a brake!

  • Thanks for advise guys. Gonna sell it and buy a road fork instead.

  • It depends on the fork actually, if its got an aluminium crown it'll fine to drill.

  • Wise move, the Columbus tusk forks are supposed to be good and very reasonably priced.

  • 60 quid :-)

  • Did something similar to you this morning, accidentally unclipped and put my foot in my front wheel and ripped the toe off my shoe. Luckily I avoided any spokes in my leg!

  • Shit man, hope you're not hurt too much and that your bike didn't take much damage!

  • Thanks I'm fine, (besides bruised pride and toes) I also lost a spoke and haven't the foggiest where it went!
