Considering getting some of these for the seta, worried about safety...

They might be complete dicks but they handled my questions very well. Answered quickly and seemed friendly enough.

The shite in the interwebs is regarding Terry Dolan, not Dolan bikes, and even then its not directly related to his customer relations. Its probably a bit unfair to the company to confuse the two.

He's written his name all over my bike though, so it seems as though he wants us to equate the two. I like his bikes anyway.

Also, I quite like Dave Hinde despite all the internet stories. Hometown represent etc. etc.

mine has dolan labelled only on the downtube, seta on the seattube and their webpage on the left chainstay

Mine has Dolan on the headtube twice, down tube, top tub and seatstays once on each side and then their site on the chainstays.

Hair dryer gets rid of them on alu frames, probably shouldn't try it with the carbonz

Never had a problem with Dave Hinde customer service - they build wheels pretty badly though.

Fuck hairdryers, you need a proper heat gun and some acetone* ** presuming for the sake of argument the frame isn't clear coated on top of the decals...

*Do not use heat gun and acetone simultaneously.

Heat gun gets rid of the paint too, hair dryer is fine for just the decals
